Happy New Year 2013

….. And happy birthday to Sonicsalute.com. 1 year old, this January.

to celebrate both, you will find a nice set of completely free fireworks sfx at the bottom of this post.

The recordings are from two different sessions. First one is several years old, and recorded a few kilometers away from a Baltic Sail finishing festival.

The second session, is from last new years eve 2011/2012.

First session, was quite controlled, as the fireworks was set off by a pyro tech.

Second session was the exact opposite. Firecrackers, fountains, rockets, and huge explosions all over the place…..

 

This New Year gift, is 23 tracks (with embedded metadata), all 96/24. About half a gig large.

Mics used: DPA 4061´s and Sennheiser Mkh 416

Recorders: Fostex FR2 and SoundDevices 702
